APB is one of the early investors who recognised the strong beer culture in Cambodia and the growth prospects of the Cambodian beer market. In 1994, APB got together with its Cambodian partner, Progress Import and Export to set up Cambodia Brewery Ltd (CBL), the first foreign investment that was approved by the Cambodia Investment Board.

The brewery started commercial operations in November 1996. Today, the brewery offers a well-balanced portfolio including Tiger Beer, Anchor, Gold Crown and ABC Stout for every segment of the market. While Tiger Beer caters to the premium segment of the market, ABC Stout is the leading premium stout in the country. Accounting for the mainstream and economy segments are Anchor and Gold Crown beers respectively.

Situated in the Kandal Province, CBL is one of the most progressive companies in Cambodia. CBL was first the first company in Cambodia to be awarded the ISO9001:2000 certification as well the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point accreditation. Its win in the Brewery Cup 2001 was yet another testament to the claim.
