APB FOUNDATION GROCERIES FOR CHARITY

Rendering aid to the disabled community, the APB Foundation launched APB Foundation Groceries for Charity in August 2008 in collaboration with the Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD). The two-year programme aims to address two key needs of physically challenged families – food and mobility.

Every month, APB employees spend half a day each delivering supplementary groceries to about 150 families residing throughout Singapore. These beneficiaries who have been identified by SPD for the scheme, have a monthly household income of less than S$1,500.

Apart from supplementing the families' need for basic food items, our door-to-door grocery delivery also alleviates their inconvenience of having to buy the groceries on their own.
