Tiger Beer
- Launched in 1932, Tiger Beer is APB's flagship brand. Today, Tiger Beer is brewed in 11 countries and available in over 70 countries worldwide including Europe, USA, Latin America, Australia and the Middle East.
- The Asia Pacific region remains an important region for Tiger Beer and it will continue to offer
substantial growth potential. As APB maintains its pace to grow Tiger Beer's footprint in addition to the
existing list of more than 70 markets where the brew is currently available, APB will also persist in bolstering Tiger
Beer's leading position in the Asia Pacific region, in particular, its stronghold markets in Southeast Asia
such as Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.
- In the western markets such as the UK and USA, Tiger Beer has been embraced as a leading premium brew that
hails from the Far East.
- In the UK, the brand's endearing contemporary Asian spirit has won over many discerning drinkers. Currently, this authentic Singapore brand can be found in over 8,000 premium bars/clubs and
distribution outlets in UK's major cities such as London, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, etc.
The brand has made its way into top-end bars and restaurants such as The Light Bar at St Martin's Lane,
Long Bar at Sanderson Hotel, Crazy Bear, Just St James, OXO Tower, Harvey Nichols and Prism London - popular
hangouts for celebrities.
- Over the years, Tiger Beer's award-winning taste has picked up over 40 internationally acclaimed
accolades and awards. The most notable include the Brewing Industry
International Awards, UK, 1998 (the equivalent of the Oscar Awards for the brewing industry). More
recently, Tiger Beer won the Gold medal in the European Style Pilsener category of the
2004 World Beer Cup, a competition which is considered "the Olympics of
Beer Competitions" by the industry, and a Gold medal at the New Zealand International Beer Awards in 2008.
- Tiger Beer has become such a recognisable and much sought-after import premium beer in UK that it was named
UK Cool Brand Leader each year from 2004 to 2006 - a recognition given to the coolest brands in UK.
- Tiger Beer also topped a list of 50 beer brands and was crowned the NUTS (a weekly magazine in the UK)
Beer of the Year 2004. These recognitions reaffirmed that apart from industry medals, Tiger Beer is also gaining
greater popularity with its growing number of fans.
