APB participates in the Indonesian beer market via PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MBI). MBI was first established in Medan, Indonesia, in 1929. It operates two breweries on the island of Java, near Jakarta and Surabaya, and has its headquarters in Jakarta. MBI has sales and marketing offices in all the major cities, from Medan in North Sumatra to Jayapura in Papua. MBI is a listed Company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

A key brewer in the country, MBI produces, markets and sells Indonesia's favourite Bir Bintang, the international premium brand Heineken, Guinness Stout as well as non-alcoholic drinks Green Sands, Recharge and Bintang Zero.
