LAOS

Completing its presence in the high-growth Indochina region, APB through Lao Asia Pacific Breweries Limited (LAPB), opened its first brewery in Laos on 12 March 2008.

LAPB is a joint venture company of APB (68%), the Government of Laos (25%) and SBK Consultant Ltd (7%). It is the second brewer to be granted a beer investment licence by the Government of Laos. 

The state-of-the-art brewery occupies a 13-hectare site in Xaythany District within Vientiane and is currently brewing Tiger beer and ABC Extra Stout as well as local brand Namkhong for the Lao consumers. It also imports and distributes Heineken in Laos.
