SOLOMON ISLANDS

Further expanding our foothold in the South Pacific, APB entered the beer market of Solomon Islands with a majority stake in Solomon Breweries Limited (SBL) in June 2011.

Established in 1988, SBL is the only local brewer in the country. It operates its brewery in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands, and produces, markets and sells SB Special and Solbrew beer, the two leading brands that enjoy extensive penetration in the market. In early 2011, SBL also introduced its own whisky cola RTD, Solbrew Whisky & Cola, to cater to a wider spectrum of the market.
